OPR is going to be toxic with these upcoming changes. If people only care about getting slotted in war, they should just implement a role requirement or something…you need X amount of so and so weapons. The BB might be okay if they are still tanky somehow, but it might not work that well with the fortify nerfs. You might be able to play melee with a pocket healer, but it’s going to worse than it is now because of the changes to fortify. Melee is going to struggle, and the musket seems unusable. With the fact the FS’s heavy attack with smolder does more damage than the Bow, and considering the changes to fortify and the limited amount of resistance we can have to both fire and thrust, I don’t see how it will be possible to play much else besides those two weapons. The bow should have been nerfed more, which would have made the FS comparatively better.
If my guts is also right this time, then the first season will be Firebender & Bowman era.
Ez Aoe, Ez damage, and all it take is a single FS with a plague skill and those AOE will get invalid real soonĪnd yeah there are another AOE that make FS a dominant weapon vs blob, which most likely become next OPR/War meta. Also, last time i check that capture circle were relative small…that make those 1 metter felt like 10 meter because everyone and their whole family where gattering inside said circle.

Not to mention that it give free smolder w passive as well. And the flare passive is a 1 meter radius, players have to be standing shoulder to shoulder to hit 2 targets.ġ Meter is Huge for a nearly 0 cost attack with 20ish meter effective distance. Meteor shower only applys smolder stacks to people standing inside it when you land an auto attack on them, which would require people to be afk. In wars people stand in sacreds, constantly having debuffs removed by healers and also cleansing potions which make your smolder attacks unable to be applied for a duration after.
